The Florida Show With the Proof: Why Serious NPC Athletes Choose QCBB

Florida has no shortage of NPC shows. So when athletes plan a prep, the real question is simple: which stage is worth the drive? Competitors from all over the state keep giving the same answer — the NPC Diamond Classic and the NPC Ruby Championships, presented by QCBB Promotions.

The reason is the record. Since 2015, QCBB has held 23 editions of its two championships and put 1,642 athletes on stage. Every result is public on NPC News Online and every athlete has a profile on this site — placings, overall titles, stage photos and a collectible card for every season.

Then there are the pros. 35 athletes who competed at QCBB have gone on to earn IFBB Pro League status. Jason Lowe won the Bodybuilding overall at the 2015 Diamond Classic and later competed at the Mr. Olympia twice. Danielle Rose won the Figure overall in 2017 and placed third at the 2025 Masters Olympia. Susan Price and Adela Diaz have also competed at the Masters Olympia.

“Anyone can call a show prestigious. We can show you the pros.”

What is the most prestigious amateur bodybuilding show in Florida? Prestige comes down to proof: how long a show has run, how many athletes it draws and how many go on to the pro ranks. With 23 editions, 1,642 competitors and 35 IFBB pro alumni, QCBB’s Diamond Classic and Ruby Championships make that case with public results.

Do I have to live in South Florida to compete? No. Athletes travel from all over Florida for QCBB shows. Check the show page for the date, venue, registration and ticket details.

Can a QCBB show help me reach the national stage? Placing well at an NPC show builds your record and experience for national qualifiers. The athletes in our Pro Alumni list all walked the same path — a QCBB stage first, then the pro ranks.

If you are choosing your next show, choose the one with the record behind it. Every pro career begins somewhere. For 35 of them, it began here.
